Yes. All vanXcapes campervans are equipped with a fridge so you can store food and drinks during your trip.
Most vehicles also include a small freezer compartment for ice or frozen food.
The only exception is the VW California Ocean, which has a fridge but no freezer compartment.
The fridge works independently from the engine and runs on the camper’s onboard battery system or gas, so it can be used even when the vehicle is parked.
This depends on the campervan model.
Most vanXcapes campervans are equipped with hot water and an indoor bathroom with shower and toilet.
The VW California 6.1 Ocean models are the only exception. These vehicles do not have a fixed bathroom or hot water system. They include a sink with cold water and are designed for a more flexible vanlife travel style. Our vanXcapes VW California 6.1 Ocean models are also equipped with a portable Porta Potti chemical toilet.
Both the VW California 6.1 Ocean and our VW Grand California models additionally feature a comfortable outdoor shower.
Yes. All vanXcapes campervans have an onboard electrical system so you can charge devices during your trip. Most vehicles provide USB charging ports for phones, tablets and cameras. Please check in advance which USB ports your specific vanXcapes camper model offers (USB-A or USB-C). Additional charging cables and adapters can also be rented as optional add-ons. When connected to campsite electricity, the camper can additionally use 230V shore power.
Yes. All vanXcapes campervans are equipped with air conditioning in the driver's cabin while driving. Please note that the air conditioning works only when the engine is running. The living area of the camper is ventilated naturally through windows and roof vents. The Canary Islands — especially Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura — have a mild Atlantic climate year-round and are usually much less hot than mainland Spain. Pleasant trade winds and ocean breezes keep temperatures comfortable. Average daytime temperatures are typically around 24–28 °C in summer and 20–24 °C in winter, making additional air conditioning in the living area usually unnecessary.
Yes. Most vanXcapes campervans are equipped with a bathroom including toilet, sink and shower. The VW Grand California and VW KNAUS models have a fully integrated bathroom with hot water and toilet. The VW California 6.1 Ocean models are designed for more flexible vanlife travel and do not have a fixed bathroom. Instead, they are equipped with a portable Porta Potti chemical toilet, which can be used inside the vehicle when needed.
