Booking a van with vanXcapes is quick and fully online. The process takes only a few steps: Choose your pickup location (e.g. Tenerife, Fuerteventura or Málaga). Select your travel dates and pickup time. Choose an available campervan or request availability for your preferred van. Select your protection package, optional flex cancellation option, payment option, and any extra packages or travel accessories you want. Enter your customer details. Review your booking and proceed to checkout. Once payment is completed, your booking is confirmed and you receive all rental details by email.

The security deposit is paid by credit card at pickup. If the vehicle is returned in good condition, the deposit will be released. Depending on your bank, it may take a few days until the amount becomes available again.

vanXcapes offers three protection packages so you can choose the level of coverage that best fits your trip and risk preference. The packages mainly differ in the security deposit, the excess per damage case and the coverage of certain damages. BASIC protection package (included in the rental price): 1,500 € excess per damage case 1,500 € security deposit Comprehensive insurance including legal liability insurance Roadside assistance included Not covered: glass, tires, underbody, roof, awning and interior damage, as well as theft without excess. Also not covered are damages caused by gross negligence or misfuelling. COMFORT protection package: 1,000 € excess per damage case 1,000 € security deposit One additional drivers included Roadside assistance included Small windshield cracks up to 2 cm covered RELAX protection package: 500 € excess per damage case 500 € security deposit 2 additional drivers included Roadside assistance included Windshield damage covered Interior, tire, roof, underbody and awning damage covered Vehicle theft without excess covered All protection packages apply per damage case and can be selected during the booking process.

Each vanXcapes rental includes 300 km per rental day. That should be more than enough for a leisure travel in our destinations. If you exceed the included kilometres, additional distance will be charged after the trip. Additional kilometres: 0.25 € per km Optional kilometre packages can be booked during the reservation: 500 km package - 50 € 1000 km package - 80 € Unused kilometres are not refunded.

Yes, additional drivers can be added to your booking. The number of included drivers depends on the selected protection package: BASIC protection package Additional drivers can be added for an extra fee. SWEET protection package 1 additional drivers included. RELAX protection package 2 additional drivers included. All drivers must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driving licence.

Yes. Bookings can be changed or cancelled according to the selected Flex Option. With the BASIC Flex Option the following conditions apply: Rebooking 30 days before pickup: 100% credit 8–29 days before pickup: 75% credit 3–7 days before pickup: 50% credit Less than 2 days: no credit Cancellation 30 days before pickup: 100% voucher 8–29 days before pickup: 50% voucher 3–7 days before pickup: 10% voucher Less than 2 days: no refund Refunds or vouchers may be subject to the selected cancellation option and a 100 € processing fee.
